Our Story

Our inspiration to start Zero Barriers came from many years of working with patients in rehabilitation facilities. This role placed us in direct contact with thousands of individuals who have experienced life-changing events, due to injury, illness or the effects of aging.

We observed that many patients and their families were left alone to figure out how to deal with these changes, usually during a highly emotional and vulnerable time. People often rushed their decisions, relying on individuals without the proper professional knowledge, spending unnecessary money and ending up with less than optimal solutions. Patients and caregivers need good, unbiased advice on the best products and service providers in order to make a smooth, safe transition home. We created Zero Barriers to fill that void.
